This 35-year-old female had a history of severe facial trauma as a child where she was hit in the face with a softball. This caused severe asymmetry to her nasal bones and dorsum as well as causing a severe deviated septum . To address this , through our Scarless Nose® Rhinoplasty technique , we straightened her septum and her nasal bones, creating more dorsal symmetry. We also utilized spreader grafts to strengthen the middle third to prevent crooked collapse from her injury. She also had a small dorsal hump that we shaved down to finesse her side profile . The patient liked her nostril tip complex, so we did not change that at all and preserved the natural character of her nose, while fixing the deformity caused by her childhood injury.
