Patient 28 Description This is a 17-year-old girl who came to us with concerns that her nose overpowered her facial features. She was a popular and smart Beverly Hills high school student who excelled in school and always felt confident overall, but truly felt her nose took up too much real estate on her face. She felt her nose overshadowed the rest of her beautiful features. She desired a smaller version of her nose, especially her bulbous nasal tip. Therefore, through our Scarless Nose® Rhinoplasty technique , we performed numerous small maneuvers to finesse her nose. She had a bulbous, under-rotated nasal tip with pull-down effect from Depressor Nasii muscle, therefore we performed tip deprojection with feminine rotation. She also had bulbous , rectangular nasal tip; therefore , we performed refinement of the nasal tip with creation of anatomical triangular tip configuration. She also had wide nasal bones therefore we performed narrowing of the nasal bones . She also had a slight dorsal hump with excess strength of the side profile, so we subtly shaved the side profile to become the softer version of her nose. When you look at the before photos, you don’t mean to, but you automatically look at her nose. When you look at the after photos, you don’t mean to, but you automatically look at her eyes.
