  2. ) Bitter Orange

    Bitter orange aka aurantii fructus, zhi shi, and citrus aurantium is used in weight loss products, allergy medication, and nasal congestion. This supplement has been linked to fainting, stroke, and death.

  3. ) Colloidal Silver

    Colloidal Silver also known as ionic silver and native silver is used to treat infections, lyme disease, facial redness, HIV/AIDS and more. This can cause your skin to turn a blue hue, kidney problems, and neurological issues.

  4. ) Country Mallow

    This particular supplement is also called heartleaf, Sida cordifolia, and silky white mallow. It is used for nasal congestion, allergies, bronchitis, and weight loss. Country mallow can cause heart attack, heart rhythm issues, stroke and even death.

  5. ) St. John’s Wort

    St. John’s Wort is a very common supplement used for depression, anxiety, and sleep issues. St. John’s Wort mixes poorly with other medication including heart medicines, antidepressants and birth control. It can also cause adverse side effects including nausea, dizziness, and dry mouth.
