Dr. Deepak Dugar, world-renowned closed rhinoplasty surgeon, is known for his conservative approach to rhinoplasty as well as his positive mindset towards natural beauty. Dr. Dugar speaks on the Emmy award-winning talk show The Doctors to discuss his book Be-YOU-tiful where he speaks on his conservative and natural approach to rhinoplasty in order to maintain and enhance one’s natural beauty.

Dr. Dugar speaks on the concept of the “button” nose, explaining that many people get nose jobs to obtain this “ideal” look, however, they often end up not feeling like themselves. Dr. Dugar cracks down on the problem where people often get plastic surgery to follow the current trend. Dr. Dugar, on the other hand, performs rhinoplasties to allow his patients to be happy for their entire lifetime.

In addition to this “button” nose trend, Dr. Dugar dives into the problems that social media brings to the world of plastic surgery. He explains that, these days, there are countless filters on different social media platforms that distort one’s face from its natural state. These filters are misleading and are causing a societal standard for beauty that is both unrealistic and unnatural. This is why Dr. Dugar explains that at Scarless Nose®, he works diligently to perform natural closed rhinoplasties to purposefully stray away from this negative mindset.

Finally Dr. Dugar speaks on the topic of nose threads and how he believes they do not provide a natural look for the nose. Dr. Dugar explains that he has seen nose threads be very poorly done, and does not recommend it as an option when wanting to maintain natural beauty.
